About the Chef Moz Project

The world is a big place. Professionally-built restaurant guides are unable to cope with the huge number of restaurants worldwide.

The Chef Moz Project's goal is to produce the most comprehensive guide to restaurants, by relying on a vast army of volunteer editors.

Choices, Choices...

There are a lot of restaurants out there, and every day hundreds of new ones spring up and hundreds disappear. If only there was a way to keep track. Now there is. Chef Moz allows everyone who has an opinion, or just knows about a restaurant, to contribute to its vast fast-growing database. No need to wait all year for the new Yellow Pages; check out the new restaurants in your neighborhood now!

Because Bad Food is Bad News

Tell Chef Moz about your bad dining experiences and save others from your fate. Really, who wants to find hair in their salad? Does the waiter always sit you next to the kitchen? Does the "sweet and sour" sauce taste a lot like ketchup? Fight back, let others know what you know.

Help Feed the Starving Masses

People need food to live, and people need good food to live well. Help raise the quality of life for everyone by contributing your opinions and experience. Not only will it enrich your dining experience, it will help make the world a tastier place to live. Everyone has a favorite little "bistro" that they go back to again and again, whether it's for the food, the atmosphere, the service, or simply the convenience. What if you had access to every local's favorite restaurant? Now you can, but we need your help! Signing up is easy: choose an area you know something about and join. Editing restaurants is a snap. We have a comprehensive set of tools for adding, deleting, and updating restaurants and reviews in seconds. For just a few minutes of your time, you can help make the Web a better place, and be recognized as an expert in your chosen region.
